Extra CrossFire Information:

Crossfire (commonly abbreviated as CF) is a tabletop miniatures wargame designed by Arty Conliffe and first published in 1996, later supplemented by “Hit the Dirt” containing a number of rules clarifications and scenarios. Crossfire was originally designed to allow for company-sized battles and World War II scenarios. It employs an innovative rules system eliminating the need for a ruler.

Crossfire is based in a medieval fantasy world and is similar to other games of this genre. Players can choose any of the 13 races from dragons (fire hatchlings) to quetzalcoatl as well as the more average human and elf. They can also play as one of 15 classes or professions which range from alchemist to a monk to a warrior. The game consists of a comprehensive skill system that has experience levels in each skill, rather than just general experience points. As a result, it is realistic in that the skills the player uses are the skills that are improved.

Crossfire and Combat Arms another 2 great fps games, each of them with a different story and a different set play. Different weapons, maps, game play but all of these create a great environment in both of these first person shooters.

These are utilized in playing group games of tag, or for any solo game like practicing shooting at targets. These blasters shoot darts made on soft Nerf materials. They can shoot fast and quite far. There are numerous types of dart blasters, such as, the Crossfire blasters, the Hyperfire and the Furyfire.

Anticipated titles at release time will include the fourth game in the ever popular Gran Turismo series, Madden 07, Vampire’s Rain, Crysis, Fatal Inertia, MotorStorm, Assassin’s Creed, Call of Duty 3, NBA Live 07, Need for Speed: Carbon, Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire, Resistance: Fall of Man, and F.E.A.R. Also keep in mind that the PS3 is going to be widely backwards compatible with older PS and PS2 games, which you’ll be able to buy from Son’y PNP service, if you don’t already have them ? one of the major selling points! For your PS3, game reviews already written will be just as useful. Finally, going back even further, Sony has announced that a wide variety of Sega Genesis (MegaDrive) games will be also be compatible with the PS3, opening up yet more games to its repertoire.

On the day of the PlayStation 3 launch in Japan, Crossfire sold 33,000 units. The American release was not nearly as well received as the Japanese release. IGN gave the game a 3.2 out of 10, GameSpot rated it 3.9 out of 10, 1UP gave it a score of 2 out of 10, and Game Informer gave the game a 3.75 out of 10. OPM gave Crossfire a 3 out of 10. MAHQ, a dedicated anime mecha website gave it 1.5 out of 5. PSM gave the game a 5 out of 10. Gamepro gave it a 1.0 out of 5.0. X-Play gave it a 1 out of 5 for “being shovelware of the highest order”. Problems cited by reviewers included bland, outdated graphics, an underdeveloped story, bad voice acting, clumsy gameplay, and a slew of technical issues including (but not limited to) constant framerate issues, collision bugs, and frequent malfunctions of allied and even enemy AI.
